Situated on the outskirts of Sidari, the San George Hotel is built around an inviting free-form pool area and offers simple, yet spacious accommodation. A 500 metre walk will take you to a gently-shelving sandy beach and a selection of restaurants.
Lively Sidari and all its amenities can be found a little further on, whilst Corfu Town can be reached by a regular bus which stops 200 metres away from the apartments. Sidari is doubtlessly the resort of the Northern regions of the island of Corfu and the reference point of every visitor of the island.
An open bay with charming beaches forming all along its coastline, while the sandy hillocks stand by the edge of the water as sculptures, creating an intriguing scenery and a canal as well, known as the canal of love (Canal d’ Amour).
Between them there is an underground passage, which one may opt to explore or rest upon, after enjoying a swim. At night you may enjoy a meal at one of the Greek taverns or one of the restaurants with international cuisine, and relax with a drink in one of the bars or pubs, with the company of music.
We should note that excavations near Sidari have revealed the remains of an important Neolithic settlement dated around 3000 BC, the most ancient found on the island as of yet.
